You should always remove the apple seeds before giving your dog the apple.

Apples contain a compound called amygdalin in their seeds, which is a cyanide-and-sugar based molecule. Although it’s available in a very small amount, regularly feeding your dog apples without removing the seeds can cause some possible health issues for your dog.
After all, the seeds are not tasty, so why leave them in there?

2) Not too many in a day

You should not give too many apples to your dog in a day as it can cause some digestive issues.

Apple is a sweet fruit and so contains a lot of sugar. For young and healthy dogs, one apple a day should not be an issue.
However, for older dogs, you should check with your vet first before giving apples.

3) The Apple is organic

Choose organic apples for your dog. If this is not possible, then at least peel the apple to remove any possible pesticides residues and other chemicals which might have been added during processing and packaging.

4) The Apple core is removed

There is always a risk of dogs choking on the apple core. Better remove the core and watch your dog eating peacefully.
